Cosmetics - Check out Sephora they have almost every cosmetic brand in KL :) But if you don't mind , I'd like to also introduce some cosmetics that I personally find very useful and it would be very nice as a gift !
* -Urban Decay Naked Palette (every girl needs a nude eye shadow palette for their daily use and any other occasion!)
*-Benefits (blusher) I personally recommend their Bronzer and Luminizer ! It's really good :)

* Majolica Majorca (Eye Shadow the Jeweling Eyes )This is a simpler nude palette but it's as good! Totally worth the money you pay :)

 

* Kiss Me (Eye Liner) - It has a very fine tip so its easy to tight line your eyes and it's very smooth :) It will not clot up or dry up easily ! It has a very long life span too !

*Revlon (Just Bitten Lip Stain ) It comes in a wide range of colors and the color really stays on for about 3-4 hours before you need to reapply and the best thing is the color POPS!

NAILS - No matter how much you hate putting on make up , i think there is one thing every girl enjoys a good quality nail polish !
* I recommend China Glaze because they have a variety of nail polishes , sometimes they even comes in a collection so its very suitable as a gift. China Glaze is also very easy to apply on and the color really shows.
You can get them at KLCC Isetan , One Utama and so on :)

#3 Bracelet , Charms , Pendants (Thomas Sabo , Diva , Pandora and so on)

      What's better than a token of appreciation that can be carried around and be held close at heart?!
      It doesn't have to be the most expensive diamonds from De Beers , it's just a matter of your effort         and how much meaning that bracelet , pendant or accessories carry .

Youth Credit Card Design Contest -Nuffnang-

It partially inspired me to create this credit card design with the name "INFINITY" .

 

INFINITY ; Infinite dreams , infinite hopes , infinite smiles , infinite memories , infinite friendship , infinite charm , infinite kind-ness , infinite joy , infinite love , infinite happiness , infinite wants , infinite passion , infinite commitment ; when we are young everything has no limit , there is never a restriction or limit to what we are capable of doing . To me , that's the beauty of life being young and wild and free! Experiencing , making memories every step you take , making dreams come true , being inspired or inspiring someone else and so on .

I choose to use all these simple and nice pictures and join it all up because i feel that it reflects a person's life . Every step we take in our life , we create memories whether it is good or bad our mind captures them and stores them up . Thus , every time when we think about something that happened in the past all these beautiful images of our past will automatically join together and once again make us feel like we are living the moment again .

This is like a person's thoughts and memories but in a compact size :)

Nuffnang is turning 6 !

Well as you all know , Nuffnang is turning 6 soon!Hurrays!

Ever since Nuffnang was established , blogging was no longer a boring and blend , blogs that used to be filled with things that happen in our daily life becomes story about events , new products , parties , concerts and loads of other surprises!

Long story short ! I really want the tickets to attend Nuffnang's 6th birthday bash at Lust , KL.

Everyone has an artist that they secretely admire , songs that keeps playing in their mind and can never seem to stop or end even when we're sleeping .

Mine is *Drum Rolls* TAYLOR SWIFT :RED ALBUM!

Eventhough she had a lot of make ups and break ups no doubts her songs from her latest album still topped the charts of my heart!

The reason why i absolutely love her RED album is because her songs relate to what happen in every teenagers life (Excluded those who never felt love before) , she kept it real even if she had a lot of ex-boyfriends in the past , she has the balls to blurt it all out !even though she is a big joke now when it comes to love , her song never fails to touch those who are heartbroken , going through a tough time with their lover or thinking about a split or not.
It is meaningful in a love point of view also I'm always impressed by her ability to connect with the listeners ears and soul, she always seem to be able to touch my heart .

Education System and Life (It relates!)

The Education System! Such a great masterpiece created by bright minds to filter all the smart seeds and the rest will stay that way unaccepted and unwanted. I mean its never wrong for Unis , Govts and employers to want smart people (Judge mainly on their results and their progress in classes , lectures and ya-dah ya-dah) pshhht!!! Even if I were to find workers I'd prefer smart people . Its really not wrong , what's wrong is the concept in everyone's mind ... that results and grades come first no matter what and the rest just stay as a side dish .

I'm talking in a student point of view , i get how it feels like being not so smart compared to all of your friends .It's difficult , your friend tries 10 times and they succeed in understanding but when you try 10 times , you still end up looking out the window asking God WHO.THE.HELL created this alien language or sign! You ask for your lecturers help they seem to have a gazillion things in mind and could hardly make time for you , you choose not to disturb your friends because you know everyone is busy with their own work , you can't ask your parents because they've obviously forgot what they've learned in college like 20-30years ago and the last resolution is to study the text book which you always end up dozing off after the first few pages .

"Some people are just not meant for that Full On Studying (Just reading books and doing homework kinda thing ya-know?) some people are just more on the study + Fun kind of plan !(more holistic education system and out-spoken) " *Unfortunately in Malaysia we don't practice that kind of education system no matter how much the MOE try to fit in co-curricular activities in it , the mindset is just there . It's always results before co-curricular activities and stuff u get it? when we grow older , we tend to have problems speaking out , making decisions (because we didn't have to make decisions when we are younger in high school) and we just become dull ! * it makes all of us feel like this:

Its just difficult no matter how much u turn the Rubik Cube you just can't seem to find see light through it.

Imagine if one day , all the teachers and lecturers suddenly become enthusiastic in their job , imagine if one day assignments and fun activities are part of determining your grades, this not just prepares people for the uni life ahead , it also helps build better creativity and imaginations! its like

After all , at the end of the day , results and grades does not determine who you will be in the future , in the working society ! Just because you passed College with flying colors , just because you graduated from Some first class university doesn't mean you'll be successful , doesn't mean you can think out of the box and go with your own rules , doesn't make you a better person to build a better society ; While being a college drop out , a uni drop out , 3rd class degree graduate from law school , BBB for your A-lvls doesn't mean you will never be successful , doesn't make you a failure in life! most successful people don't have great results when they're in high school , college and university ! Experience is what makes a person wiser and closer to success.

At times when i really thought i could make it high up , i fall on my knees , people always tell me if you don't have the qualification why aim so high up?? Interest and dreams won't exactly give you a promising future . I push away all of those criticism , i stand on my feet and tell myself , i can only live once and if i keep doubting myself and allowing others to push me down , I'm no more than a sad puppet ! I'm gonna live my life for myself and do what i want even if it means failing I'll keep trying .

PS: the truth is , there is no truth because behind every single truth there is a lie.

Fantastic Food , Great Service

Food is an essential item in our life , its like a type of enjoyment in life , a type of happiness that comes easily and it is also a type of satisfaction you get from tasting the best flavors the chef can put on the table. What makes food so great is not just the flavors on the plate but also the service they provide , a sense of feeling at home , friendly faces and interesting conversations that is what makes a restaurant on top of the rest .

Straight to the point! I bet everyone of you have tried Italian food before whether if its a fusion Italian food , modern Italian food , or Traditional Italian Food , nothing beats HOMEMADE ITALIAN FOOD BY THE ITALIANS themselves! Osteria Real Blue Restaurant at SOLARIS DUTAMAS

Osteria in Italian means a small and cheap cafe . To be honest i've never tried homemade Italian food , the only "ITALIAN FOOD" which is not so "ITALIAN" is probably Pasta at Delicious or Pizza Hut or by my mom!

For Starters we ordered # Caprese Di Bufala Tomato, Bufala Mozzarella, Oregano, Olive Oil PS: The Mozzarella cheese is very fresh and surprisingly not very tarty and salty :)

__________ TIPS: How to check if your Mozzarella Cheese is fresh or not , use your fork or anything (JUST NOT YOUR FINGERS) gently put pressure on the flat surface of the cheese. If you see milk coming out from the cheese , you know that the Chef ain't lying about the cheese being FRESH :) __________ For First Dishes we ordered # Gnocchi Al Formaggio, Pancetta e Noci Gnocchi with Cheese, Bacon ham and Nuts

# Ravioli Di Ricotta e Spinaci Fresh Ravioli Filled with Ricotta Cheese and Spinach in Basil, Butter and Parmesan

PS: The first thing about pastas in Malaysia is that not many are handmade , most of them are prepacked and sent over from overseas or manufactured locally. To find a chef that is willing to take out his rolling pin and start rolling pasta dough out repeatedly , slowly flattening it and cutting it into small pieces (which would take a VERY VERY LONG TIME!) its almost near to IMPOSSIBLE! But you'd be very surprise how much passion this Chef has for his food! Both the Gnocchi and Ravioli are homemade by the chef himself! My favourite is probably the Ravioli! Ravioli looks like dumplings , they come in different shapes and sizes (BUT IT AIN'T DUMPLING! BECAUSE THERE IS NO MEAT IN IT). The texture of the Ravioli is fantastic , its so chewy , milky and soft the flavors explode in your mouth it makes you feel at home . _____________ For the Main Dish we ordered # Filetto Alla Tartara Special Raw and Minced Fillet or Beef Mixed with some(Mustard , egg yolk , pepper and some other stuff i can't remember!) The Green Salad looks pretty normal right? But they added Truffle Oil and some truffles inside to enhance the taste of the salad making it taste like roasted bacon and it is just fantastic! The best salad other than the Mozzarella salad that I had :)

-OK i bet when you see this , the first thing you will say is EWWWW YUCKS?! What RAW MEAT??? I'm not a CAVE MAN!!! I Eat Cooked Food and you will probably question whether or not after eating it you will get Hand Food Mouth Disease or some horrible Illnesses! Well I've tasted it , Tried it and i can tell you that it is not what you imagine it to be , its very tasty , flavorful and the texture is amazing. There are no signs of Blood coming out from the meat , no bad smell , and NO IT DOESN'T TASTE LIKE RAW CHICKEN MEAT! The texture is like tuna spread , its very creamy and you can eat it in many different ways for example spreading it on toasted garlic bread , putting some marmalade on it , it is just phenomena! Quote " HOW WOULD YOU KNOW SOMETHING IS NOT NICE IF YOU NEVER EVER TRIED IT BEFORE?" -BRYAN HOMI MEHTA- TIPS: To enjoy red meat more e.g: Beef serve it with a glass of Red Wine However for White meat e.g. Fish serve it with White wine . ___________

For Desert # Crêpes peach and chocolate

Well here is the thing , it just so happens that yesterday that is 10th of August when we went to the restaurant there weren't any crepes but then thanks to the lady boss , she went into the kitchen just to make both of us crepes :) she is such a nice lady! and her crepes was so yummy! i can have more of it! the peach is sweet and sour while the crepe is soft and fluffy . What a simple pleasure!

In Terms of Service i would rate 10/10 In Terms of Food i would rate 9/10 In Terms of Portion i would rate 7/10 In Terms of Satisfaction 10/10 (I'm certainly a very happy consumer!) In Terms of Price i would suggest #( you bring extra money as you have to pay for QUALITY food ) I assure you that you will never regret going to this restaurant it's just amazing and delicious!

Failures in life

Every 60 seconds you spend being sad over something / someone is a minute of happiness you can never buy back.

Hey guys sorry for not updating my blog for awhile because i was really busy with some school event .

It was the first time I've ever organized an event.It's called Cirque du Soleil. Well within two weeks our team manage to get sponsors , put up some great set ups for the venue , sold about 140 tickets but everything went smooth until the event day itself. It was raining , the itinerary was screwed up as hell , all the people started leaving half way throughout the event , the crowd was dead , some of the performances are bad , some last minute error with the popcorn machine , our game booths were scrapped , our best dress award procedures were not written down clearly and we had problems with the managements.

It was at that point i realize that , everything that we've dreamt of and picture didn't came true. Nothing went well , everything went wrong. We didn't have enough people looking at the event on that day , we only had 7 people organizing the entire event and 6 of us had performances. We couldn't be on the floor looking over the event. People were laughing and saying "what a bad event and such a waste of time"

At that point of my life , i felt disappointed , i felt like i've led everyone down the drain , i've jumped off the edge of a cliff myself , led the entire club down a ditch , literary take my teacher's reputation and just flung it out the window . The worst thing is that , before all of this happen , i actually promised everyone that this is going to be the best event and stuff to pursue people to buy the tickets and they really had faith in us . Do you know how hard i try to even forget about this event.

I've been running away from all of these problems , running away from the mistakes that i've made , runnin away from all the blame , and i really felt like i'm such an embarrassament , i should just disappear from this College. It was a point in life where i sworn i will never ever do an event again , i couldn't accept failure it wasn't in my book. F.A.I.L.U.R.E is never something that i could take easily. I always think that I will never fail but i was wrong.

Every time when my mom or anyone ask me about the event , i would just yell and say "CAN U NOT TALK ABOUT IT" IT ALREADY OVER CAN YOU PLEASE STOP FUCKING ASKING ME! its already depressing enough that nothing turned out right , i've been scolded by everyone for gods sake give me a break!

It was hard for me to accept but i think i didn't realize that it was even harder for people around me because i would never smile or talk about it. When people are trying to help me out and try to explain to me that failures are essential in life for you to learn and grow i would definetly COCKBLOCK them. I just burst into tears i really hope that i had a remote control in life so i can rewind it back and just click "select all" and "DELETE" but the truth is , you can never forget or try to erase what you do in life. It's just part of learning and growing .

Always remember

#1 you are not superman , you cannot take the world on your shoulders alone.

#2 even if being strong is not an option anymore , at least talk to someone about it

#3 don't keep everything to yourself cause it will do you no good

#4 when someone is trying to advise you don't cockblock them cause sometimes what they say might be true but because of your fucking ego you just took it forgranted.

#5 never ever lose faith in doing anything after you failure

#6 always plan ahead with your team not just 2 weeks before the event as it will never turn out right.

Look at the bright side , at least after thinking through everything i can finally not stare at the floor when i'm walking in college. I can finally look up and tell everyone "Hey Even Thomas Edison failed 2000 times trying to invent a light bulb and only at his 2001 attempt it manage to invent a light bulb! I've only failed once! I still have 2000 times to learn , grow , develop and succeed "
